How bicycles work

The bicycle is a means of transportation that has existed since the 19th century that uses physical force and converts it into movement. The cyclist applies force on the pedals so that the gear begins to rotate. When the gear that is connected to the pedals begins to rotate the movement is transfered to the gear connected to the wheel which also begins to rotate causing the bicycle to start moving forwards. As long as the cyclist applies force the movement will go on.

My Home Town vs My College Town

My hometown and my college town have several similarities and differences. First, my hometown, Nicosia, is the capital of Cyprus and is a big town. It has a population of about 183,000 people. Located in the center of the country, Nicosia is surrounded by many acres of farmland which are devoted mainly to growing wheat and potatoes. Nicosia also contains a college campus, University of Cyprus College, which is famous for its Architectural and Economics program as well as for its annual Power of the Night Festival. As for my college town, Limassol, is smaller than my hometown, having a population of about 100,000 local residents, which swells to 113,000 people when students from nearby areas are attending the college’s classes in the center of the town. In contrast with Nicosia, Limassol lies in the southwest coast of the country which has the main dock for imports and exports of products in the country. However, Limassol is similar to Nicosia in that it also boasts a beautiful college campus, called Cyprus University of Technology. This college is well known for its Engineering and Technology department and Limassol is well known also for its yearly Carnival Festival.

Apple iPhone 5 vs. Samsung Galaxy S3

Apple iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S3 are the two most successful phones of 2012 and are still the best mobiles in the world but there are in-depth comparison. iPhone 5 has a design more presentable and has the best built on the market today. Apple used a resistant glass for the front and rear of the phone and alouminium for the rest of the body, that makes iPhone 5 more durable, weighter and smaller that the Samsung Galaxy S3, which has slightly less of an obsession with being small and thin. Samsung Galaxy S3 has a plastic frame for the whole body and screen of the phone. However Samsung Galaxy S3 is cheaper than its opponent with a difference of 138 english pounds, where Samsung model's prize is £391 instead of Apple's model, which is £529. Beyond of these, the differences between the Galaxy S3 and iPhone 5 user interfaces are quite stark. Apple 's interface, iOS is simple, easy to use, sull of animations, is the most pleasant and enthralling way to learn and operate. In contrast of Samsung Galaxy S3 is trying really hard to make Android a more consistent and beautiful experience, but its attempts feel contrived and at times misguided. In conclusion both phones are really good and advanced technology however there’s no clear overall winner.
