How bicycles work

The bicycle is a means of transportation that has existed since the 19th century that uses physical force and converts it into movement. The cyclist applies force on the pedals so that the gear begins to rotate. When the gear that is connected to the pedals begins to rotate the movement is transfered to the gear connected to the wheel which also begins to rotate causing the bicycle to start moving forwards. As long as the cyclist applies force the movement will go on.
