How to tie a tie

A tie is a long piece of cloth worn for decorative purposes around the neck, resting under the shirt collar and knotted at the throat. First, put the tie aroud your neck, then starting with the wide end of the tie on your right, extend it a foot below the narrow end. Crooss the wide end over the narrow and turn back underneath, so that you can bring it up and turn it down around the loop. Pass the wide end around the front from left to right, then up through the loop and down through the knot in the front. Finally, tighten the knot carefully and draw it up to the collar. Following these actions, you have a perfectly tied tie.
