Effects of the Icelandic volcano eruption

The eruption of the Icelandic volcano known as Eyjafjoll affected not only the Iceland but also the whole world. The first effect were the serius floodings.Another one effect is the spread of the volcano's ash plume across europe. This caused the grounding of thousands of airline flights, general distress and wonderment. The ash that was released in the atmosphere was also full of substances like sulfur dioxide that may cause some climate changes in the future.Another one effect that is not so sure is that the volcano eruption cooled off the planet because at that point global land and ocean surface temperatures were very high.
