Clash of the Titans: iPhone 5 vs. Galaxy S3

The Apple iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S3 are probably the best smartphones in the market right now, competing for the throne of their category. When it comes to the design and construction of each phone, the iPhone is the winner with their classic design, more lightweight and durable construction, as proven by many tests. However, as we focus on the inside of each phone, things start to change. Samsung is using the latest version of Android O.S. which is way better than iOS 6 in terms of application and tasks managment,as well as multitasking. In addition, iPhone's new Apple Maps have become the laughing stock of the whole internet comunity, whereas S3's classic Google Maps have no competitor. In terms of multimedia, Apple is easily the winner, having much more experience than anyone else, thanks to the iPod, while in Samsung they are still trying to find what is best for them. Another important category is the one of the details. Here, Samsung is having an easier time, due to S3's longer battery life, the support of an sd card slot and the better connectivity. The final and most important factor that will determine the winner is the price. In Greece, the 16GB Galaxy S3 costs 560 Euros, while the 16GB iPhone 5 costs 740 Euros. In conclusion, Samsung Galaxy S3 is the clear winner of this battle, showing that quality doesn't have to cost a fortune.
