Engineering Careers

Many engineering students are concerned with their type of jobs they will work on after they graduate. Based on their field of orientation, engineering jobs can be categorized into many groups. The main groups of engineering are civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, chemical engineering and aeronautical engineering. Civil engineers are able to build a country’s infrastructure. They are able to build water works, sewers, railroads, highways, traffic control and many other facilities. They can also design mechanical parts for industrial plant buildings and skyscrapers. Mechanical engineers are able to research, design , evaluate, install and maintain mechanical products and mechanisms based on their author’s requiments. They can design and apply mechanical parts based on blueprints by cooperate with other engineers from other fields. Chemical engineers are in charge of developing atomic science that will help factory companies use efficient materials to make their products faster ,cost effective and more environmental friendly. They can also test products to check if they meet the designer’s principles.  Aeronautical engineers are focused on design and develop aircraft and ship mechanical parts such as engines, navigation system, alarms e.t.c. Also they can calculate where and when a potential problem may occur and based on their calculations they take proper measures. The job of electrical engineers is to create, develop and maintain a system’s electronic parts either if it’s a simple devise or a whole building. Their job requires them to be patient as their work takes a huge amount of time and they can connect 200 miles of cables (in shopping malls or airplanes). Engineers are the world’s backbone, nations depend on them to create their cities and peple axpect them to make their lifes easier and safer.
