PISTON

A piston is one of the main engine components,made of aluminum and various nickel-based alloys. Pistonis a part of engine which goes up and down between  the cylinder making straight - reciprocating motion. Firstly, it pushes the fuel to bring it into condition to burn and produce motive force that is transferred through the connecting rod to the crankshaft. Secondly, seals the combustion space of the crankcase by compression springs.Of course, when all this is done, the piston has to expel the exhaust gases.
