FORCE CLASSIFICATION

Force is the affection of an object causing it to move, change shape or even direction. There are two main categories of the forces affecting an object such as contact forces and forces from a distance.Generally contact forces are the kind that there must be contact of an object with something else like the ground ,air, water, liguids, springs and ropes. Those forces are called contact forces some examples are the frictional force that is applied when an object moves on a rough surface and can reduce the speed of the object.Another example is spring force when a spring is compressed or stretched by an object then the object is affected by the force of the spring that wants to be restored to his natural state.
In the other hand distance forces are those who can affect an object from a distance without touching it.This forces are between the planets called gravitational, from electricity we have the electrical force and from a magnetic we have magnetic forces. For instance on earth we have the gravity that means the force the earth attracts as and it is so big that we are not flying. In conclusion the forces are categorized into two the contact and non-contact(distance) forces that have different types of affection to the object.
