The discipline of engineering is extremely broad and includes a great variety of specialized fields. In engineering you need an idea, then you construct it and build it from the ground up. According to this procedure, engineering can be categorized into four main careers. The first career is civil engineering which deals with the design, construction and maintenance of buildings, streets, water works, sewers and railroads. The second type of engineering is mechanical engineering which has to do with the analysis, manufacturing and maintenance of mechanical systems.In my opinion, mechanical engineering is the most important career of engineering because it is related with the rest of the careers. Another career of engineering is chemical which is concerned with pioneering valuable materials and techniques which are essential in many aspects. The last branch of engineering is electrical which deals with the study and application of electricity, electronics and electromagnetism.This branch is related to computers, control systems and telecommunications. Engineers revolutionized the industry and society with great inventions and made our life easier in every day, but i believe that greater inventions are yet to come.
